Skating Skills Workshop

Follow-up private lessons available 10:00-11:00am. Please schedule individually with the coaches.
For skaters Basic 4 and above.
The 2-hour workshop is geared to skaters Basic 4 and above who wish to hone their skating skills. Topics will include edges, artistry, jumps and spins, and power stroking.
WVFSC Members: $50
(Additional $12 for 10:00-11:00 freestyle session for all skaters.)

Oleg Altukov is a five-time US National Competitor in Ice Dance, and recent recipient of the 2017 Ilse and Fredric Buch Award in recognition of his "overall achievement in a performance in the Senior Ice Dance Competition at the 2017 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships."
Melyssa James is a British National Solo Dance Champion, a Welsh National Champion and a USFS Gold Medalist in Freestyle, Moves and Dance. She has performed as a principle skater in professional ice shows, and specializes in ice dance, moves, choreography and freestyle.
Jeffrey Nolt has been coaching...well, a long time. He specializes in jumping, spinning, choreography, artistic movement and performance troupe skating! He was a two-time U.S. National competitor in pairs with his sister, Suzannah. He is the Artistic Director/choreographer for the mini-, Grape Youth, and Fine Wine performance troupes at Mt Pleasant Ice Arena.
